**Why is my tincture foamy? A little foam is completely natural! This tincture contains wild yam. Wild yam contains plant compounds called saponins, which have gentle, soap like properties and can create bubbles when the glycerite is shaken. This natural foaming indicates that the wild yam's saponin-rich constituents have been successfully drawn into the glycerite during extraction.
